God raises up and He takes down!

At the moment, there is deliberation going on, in our legislative branch, to determine if President Biden’s nominee to the highest court in the land will be approved. To tell you the truth from my standpoint it does not matter what the person’s political party affiliation is. What really counts is where the individual’s heart is in relationship to such issues as the sanctity of human life, the sacredness of marriage as it has been established by God, the biological reality that there are only two genders; male and female, and the importance of upholding the values which were adopted in our United States Constitution.

There may be other ideals which you or I may believe to be critical in choosing a person to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States. But the ones listed above are core beliefs that I feel we cannot compromise or distort for our own purposes and agendas. To date there has been an all- out attack on what I believe are the instituted principles set forth by our Almighty God. Even, the Constitution was created under a mindset which realized God’s Divine power and presence in the fiber of our nation. We cannot allow ourselves as a country to continue to drift farther and farther away from our Lord, His guidance, and His hand of blessings, for to do so will only end in our demise.

Any person who is not willing to stand up for life, traditional marriage, the truth of science when it comes to gender identity, and the foundational document of our great nation (the U.S. Constitution), with their whole heart, is someone who may very well not be a God-pleasing candidate for such an honorable position. May God grant those voting on the next Supreme Court Justice the wisdom to make the correct choice for this very important office. To God be all authority and glory! Pastor McCarty
