No need for a sun!

As the weather makes its change from the cooler conditions of early Spring, we begin to experience the warmer rays of the sun. The days have gotten longer as well since the sun has presented us with more hours of exposer. Today we were able to enjoy a beautiful Michigan day with blues skies and a glorious sunshine atmosphere. God is good!

Do you realize that one day we will not be seeing the sun anymore? You may be thinking that this is a ridiculous statement to make Pastor McCarty. Of course, we will not need the sun to shine since we will no longer be alive in this world. That may be true, but what I am really talking about comes to us from a passage in Revelation 21:22-23, “And I saw a temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb”.

The heavenly realm is filled with the glory and brightness of Christ.

Jesus is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path as we walk in this world. And the “SON” will continue to be the light that brightens our eternity, as we share in the joy of the resurrection that He has won for those who know Him as Lord and Savior.

Do you think we are going to need sunglasses to shield us from the immense illumination projected by the Son? I do not know for sure I can only imagine what it will be like. Whatever it ends up being I can guarantee you it will be magnificent!!!!!!!!! Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ has ascended into heaven, and Christ is reigning in glorious splendor. And we can be certain there are definitely brighter, much brighter days ahead for you and me dear saints of the Lord! Shine Jesus shine……………. Pastor McCarty
